Privacy, clearly explained.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Water Sort: Pour & Pause mobile application (the “App”), published by Get CTO Sdn Bhd (“Get CTO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains how information is handled when you use the App.

2. Information we handle

Information stored on your device

The App stores gameplay information locally, such as your highest unlocked level, tutorial completion, and game preferences. This information is used to make the game work and is not a player profile or account.

Analytics and app configuration

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config. These services may process app activity, app version, device and operating-system information, general diagnostics, and game events such as level starts, completions, hint use, or rewarded-ad events. We use this information to measure performance, find technical issues, and improve gameplay.

Advertising information

The App uses Google AdMob to show interstitial and rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as an advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device information, ad interactions, and fraud-prevention signals. Depending on your device settings, region, and consent choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.

3. How information is used

• to save local gameplay state and provide game features;
• to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App;
• to measure gameplay and advertising performance;
• to serve, limit, measure, and protect advertising; and
• to comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.

4. When information is shared

We do not sell your name, email address, or other direct contact details because the App does not ask you to provide them. We share or make information available to service providers only as needed to provide the App, including:

• Google Firebase for analytics and remote configuration; and
• Google AdMob and its advertising partners for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention.

These providers process information under their own privacy terms. Advertising-related disclosures can vary by region and the configuration of the final released App.

5. Your choices

You can reset local App data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App. You can manage ad personalisation through your device privacy controls and Google’s ad settings. In regions where consent is required, the App will present the applicable consent choices before requesting or using advertising technology where required.

Choosing not to watch a rewarded advertisement does not prevent you from continuing to play the game.

6. Retention and security

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the App. Information processed by Firebase and AdMob is retained according to the settings and policies of those services. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us and we will review the request.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards provided by the relevant service provider.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the App, our services, or legal requirements. We will post the revised version here and change the “Last updated” date above.
